We will be holding our Red Angus Herd Dispersal on Friday, October 31, 2008.
Check back again from time to time for more information.
Hello, and welcome to our website. In 2003 our farm turned a century. Belmoral is home to over 300 black and red cows, with 4000 acres of grain and pasture, and is strictly a family operation, with no outside income. We feed all of our own feed.
Our bulls are all home fed on a growing ration "to last". 2006 will be our 18th sale - one of the oldest running sales with the commercial man mainly in mind. Our pedigrees are mainly CANADIAN, and we have three tanks of the top old sires.
We prefer cattle that are easy fleshing, easy doing and with the ability to grow. We also put a great deal of emphasis on cow families, disposition, and that are structurally correct with good feet and legs. Our yearling bulls average from 1100 to 1400 lbs. at 12 to 14 months. We truly believe in straight Canadian pedigrees, and this has never been more true than in the last three years. The fifth generation have their cows, and they enjoy them, so we will be breeding Angus cattle for some time to come.
We welcome and enjoy visits from both commercial and purebred breeders to see the herd and talk Angus cattle. Coffee is always on.
